Basic Pistol Class

This is a 1 day course where you will learn the basics to operate a pistol in a self defense situation. There will be a classroom portion to this class, where you will learn various use of force topics so that you will be ready to defend yourself and those around you. There will also be a qualification course at the end of the the day, where you will utilize everything learned in the course and receive a score. You will learn how to effectively clear malfunctions, proper grip of the pistol, proper trigger pull and how to use it in a stressful environment. 

Pre-requisites:

Have a desire to learn. Persons who are convicted felons, have a documented history of mental illness, or who have been convicted of domestic violence, please don't apply. This is a course that will accept beginner up to and including advanced shooters, so don't feel discouraged from this course if you are new to pistol shooting

Required items:

• Pistol

• 300 rounds of ammunition 

• Eye and ear protection

• Quality holster, preferably kydex or Safariland quality

• 3 or 4 magazines

• Range attire: pants with cargo pockets, dress for the weather

• Baseball cap
